SENDCO
SENDCO
Hello, I’m Tracy and I joined Long Meadow as the SENCO in March 2020.
My role predominantly is to co-ordinate the provision and support for children with additional needs.
In the first instance I will gain as much information about your child from you and the class teacher as possible before observing your child. I may need to carry out formal assessments before I can advise on what the next steps should be in terms of whether support is needed, and what that might involve/look like. If specialist advice is needed I can refer your child to the relevant teams, such as speech and language, specialist teachers, sensory impairment team and OT.
Please contact me at school either by telephone on 01908 508678 or by email
